The overpressure valve is a one way check valve that mounts over the outflow vent pipe or blast valve. It prevents unfiltered air from backing up through your outflow pipe into your shelter. It also gives a slight back pressure to the airflow from the Safe Cell to help it maintain overpressure. It also allows you to increase the overpressure in your shelter by chocking down the outflow orifice.
This Exhaust Valve is mainly used for the exhaust outlet of pre-protection engineering.
In a closed state, when filter ventilation is necessary, it must cause and maintain 30-50Pa overpressure inside the protection project. At this time, the hood of the overpressure exhaust valve automatically opens under the action of overpressure to eliminate the toxic gas in the gas channel.
When the isolation protective is needed in wartime, lock the valve cover manually. At this time, the overpressure exhaust valve has the protective sealing function.
